I spent the past week in the country at my parents' house. It was so nice to roam through the tall (super tall!) spring grass with the dogs, see the buds peeping out, pet the cats and watch sunsets from the front porch. Of corse fruitful thrifting, cheesy Tex-Mex, juicy burgers, backyard beers and time with my folks weren't bad either.
