Dusen Dusen x Nordstrom

Loved seeing all these pretty Dusen Dusen pieces through Nordstrom's eye. They did such a fantastic job capturing them. Dusen Dusen, along with several other great designers, are a part of Nordstrom's current Pop-In shop curated by LA's Poketo. Can't you imagine just living in these simple Ilana Kohn pieces all summer long? I'm such a sucker for a fun print - team it up with a simple classic shape & I'm sold. Flower print, I'm coming for ya!

Miranda Bennett

Miranda Bennett's work just oozes effortlessness. I can't get enough of pieces you can just toss on & instantly look pulled together. After focusing on sumptuous dyed gauze, cotton & washed silk scarves for a few seasons, Miranda has branched back out into clothing and I, for one, could not be more thrilled! Her spring collection is centered around one perfect cut - somehow it's both casual and dressy - but her Everyday Dress is ... well, something I can't wait to wear every day. Hey Murphy F/W '13 Lookbook

I am completely in love with Hey Murphy's fall/winter lookbook -- though admittedly, I styled it, so I am a tad bias. Not to mention I'm a huge Hey Murphy fan! Her use of geometry is spot on & she adores turquoise, lapis & malachite almost as much as I do. Click on over to see the full lookbook.

Olive Fall / Winter '13 Lookbook

Pretty proud of the shop's fall/winter lookbook! I was kind of thinking something along the lines of Alice in Wonderland's imaginary spot in the forest on a crisp fall day. The juxtaposition of props & sets against expansive nature felt just right & Jackie Lee Young did a fantastic job capturing the project! Her keen eye is invaluable & her work's worth a bit of exploration if you're not familiar.
